Shriv TV:  We’ll have the game highlights available on Wednesday [29.09.21].

Without a game for over a week, Rob and Dan Broadbank’s side return to Barrington Park for the final fixture of September – their only home game of the month.

Despite not playing at the weekend, Shriv found themselves rising a place in the standings to tenth on Saturday evening, after Fairford Town fell to a 5-4 loss at Westfields, but the players won’t be getting carried away just yet.

Previous games have seen the side down to the barebones for the most part and although further arrivals are expected in the locker room imminently, the cogs that will see new faces arrive, aren’t exactly working overtime.

Longlevens for their part, have been going great-guns this season and haven’t really looked back since their opening day defeat at the hands of Bishops Cleeve [3-0 loss].

That defeat is one of only two the side have suffered so far this season – the other being no great embarrassment, against Gloucester City in the FA Cup (1-3) in a total of thirteen games – only two of which have been drawn, giving them no fewer than nine wins so far and with the scalps of Brimscombe & Thrupp and Westfields in that tally, the side can boast a massive 32 goals scored to date.

A win for the visitors will see them keep pace with the early season pack, and with Corsham, Westfields and Cribbs all in action, it should be an interesting night at the top end of the table.
