There’s some Wednesday night football instore for Shriv as we return to league action tomorrow evening, for game three of a four game road trip.

After Saturday’s disappointing exit from the FA Vase at the hands of Frimley Green, Shrivenham will be looking to get back in the win column and emulate the impressive effort that was on display at Westbury United in the previous game and a result that saw the side lifted to nineth in the standings.

Bizarrely, the game will mark the side first “return fixture” of the season, having already hosted the Lilywhites at Barrington Park on the opening day – a game which saw us defeated 3-2 (goals from Tom Ballard and Jamie Stones) one of only two league victories our host have enjoyed so far.

Their other win came at Chipping Sodbury Town [on August 28, 2021] and in all competitions, they’ve lost three and drawn one at home, so will fancy their chances of picking up the points once again.

Lilywhites Leading Scorers:  Harvey Flippance and Matthew Jenkins (3), Joshua Bright, George Ford, Jamie Walters and Daniel Watts (1).

Lilywhites Leading Appearances:  Joshua Bright, Craig Edwards, Ashley Fowler, Declan McStravick, Nicholas Mills and Jamie Walters (8).
