PREVIEW: Westbury United vs Shrivenham

We preview tomorrow evening’s game, as we travel to Meadow Lane for another uhlsport Hellenic Premier League game.

Shriv TV:  We’ll have game highlights available on Wednesday [08.09.21].

So, here we go for a second attempt at getting this one played – the original date [24.08.21] being cancelled due to some self-isolation issues within the Westbury camp.

Since the postponement of the original date, Rob and Dan Broadbank’s side have recorded a win [3-2 against Tuffley Rovers AFC] and a defeat [0-1 against RWBT] both with short benched sides, so they’ll be hoping to have more of their roster available ahead of the game.

Shriv Leading Scorers:  Jonathan Peachey-Score (4), Josh McGrory (2), Tom Ballard and Jamie Stones (1).

Shriv Leading Appearances:  Tom Ballard, Jonny Davoil, James Foster and Scott Garrett (6).

The White Horse Men meanwhile have only had one game since the previous postponement, but can boast a creditable 2-0 away victory over Bradford Town – courtesy of a Jordan Savage brace, which ensured that they enter the game three places higher up the standings than Shriv in 11th.

White Horse Men Leading Scorers:  Callum Demkiv (3), Francois Allen and Samuel Jordan (2), Jack Biddiscombe, Ryan Boye and Daniel King (1).

White Horse Men Leading Appearances:  Francois Allen, Callum Demkiv, Ben Griffiths, Jacob Hutchings and Joe Strandling (6).

Entry:  Adults £6, Concessions £4 & U16s £FREE.

Other HPL Games:  None.
