Committee Refresh First Aid Skills

Members of the Shrivenham Football Club Committee refreshed their first aid skills yesterday evening [22/03/18], and are ready for the year ahead!

The Football Clubs annual First Aid refresher took place at the club house, with members of the committee taking part in the hands-on training which enables them to use the skills needed to assist in a number of areas from minor cuts to commencing CPR until the emergency services arrive.

The evening was made a great success by the excellent levels of participation and enthusiasm throughout the group, alongside fantastic training.

Although we hope that the skills are never needed to be put to use, those attending the training will at least be prepared should the need arise not only at the club, but also alongside their everyday lives.

The club would like to thank all those who attended and gave up their free time to gain the qualification, with special thanks to Match Day Secretary and Welfare Officer Val Clinch who took the time to organise the event.
