Mani Happy Returns!

Shrivenham Football Club is delighted to welcome Mani Roper back to Barrington Park, after the player signed forms from uhlsport Hellenic League 1 West side, Malmesbury Victoria following Tuesday evening’s Bluefin Sports Challenge Cup defeat at the Flying Monk.

Mani returns to the club having last played here during our promotion winning season in 2017-18, but he left during the same campaign, for a place at Royal Wootton Bassett Town.

He didn’t feature in Tuesday evenings defeat, but had made 6 appearances for the Vics this term, scoring 1 goal which came in the sides second game of the campaign – a 1-1 draw against Thornbury Town.

His final appearance was as a second half substitute in the clubs 1-0 FA Vase defeat at Bishops Cleeve on October 10 [2020].

Shrivenham would like to thank our friends at Malmesbury Victoria for their assistance in making the move possible and you can see Shrivenham manager Chris Hurley and Vics manager Justin Flowers giving their opinions on the move by checking out our social media channels today.

Everybody at Barrington Park welcomes Mani back to the club, and wish him every success during his time with us.
