Kieran Remaining At SN6

Kieran Sutton has confirmed that he will be remaining at Barrington Park for a further season, having signed his 2020-21 season club registration forms.

“Kieran made an instant impact scoring a wonder goal on his debut for the Development team when he was just 16-years old back in 2018-19,” Development & Youth Head Coach Steve Hendry said upon the signing being confirmed.

“He is a wonderfully talented attacking midfielder with natural footballing ability.

“He can score, create and assist chances and his development is progressing nicely and he’ll be looking to become a permanent name on the Development team sheet going in to this season.”

Having made 11 appearance for the Youth side last term, he scored 7 goals while he also notched up 8 appearances from the bench for the Development side as well as 1 in the uhlsport Hellenic Premier League with the First XI.

Speaking about his continued association with the club, Kieran told shrivenhamfc.co.uk:  “Our last campaign for both the U18s and Development was really successful for me and the team so there was no doubt I would be returning this season.

“I want us to continue the work we’ve been putting in – there’s a real togetherness in this side and we all get along and have a laugh and working under the management has been great and with the additions this season, it’s looking even better – I’m really looking forwards to the season and seeing just how far we can go.”

We wish Kieran the best of luck for this coming season and look forwards to seeing him in action as soon as the fixture list gets underway and thank him for continuing his development at Barrington Park.
